Nine days off

I quite enjoyed my nine days off from work- I didn't do as much as I had planned (obviously!) but it was a nice break from wearing heels and I had happy feet!
I tried to draw something, went for a country walk in the rain (yay!), saw the Little Black Jacket exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery (and got two posters free! You can see how everyone is gathering at the same point in the picture, wasn't difficult to spot where the posters were) and took some photos of the outfit I was wearing one day cause I was quite pleased with the result and to keep record of the bun! Didn't last long though, after half an hour it was falling down and I had to re-do it on the train...I have to admit I'm very clumsy at doing anything with my hair apart from leaving it as it is, can't even make sure a messy bun stays in place!

Fashion + Interior Design #2

Colour trends in fashion applied to interior decoration + the cutest little animals! Is there anything better? Model Cara Delevingne (face of Burberry) looks beautiful in this editorial lensed by Nick Knight.
The name?
Pussy Cat.

Beautiful Edinburgh

James and I decided to celebrate his birthday at the end of March with a three-day trip to Edinburgh. The best decision ever, we got sunny days and 18ºC! We went and came back First Class on the Flying Scotsman, a journey that takes only 4 hours and a half and has stunning views (plus I love travelling by train). Edinburgh is now one of my favourite cities in the UK :)

A little town and views of the sea from the train

Delicious breakfast in First Class!

Scott's Monument and our 4 star hotel!

The Balmoral Hotel

 Edinburgh's Castle

Holyrood Palace

Lunch in a place that looked like a cute granny's house and the old town

View of the city with the Castle on top

Nelson's Monument (terribly windy up there!) and another view of Edinburgh from the hill

Photos by me and James. Click on them for a larger view.

Spring Flowers

I couldn't resist sharing with you these wonderful photographs by Markus Pritzi. Here is something a bit more realistic though:

I'm in love with the details in this photograph - it looks like that tree was made for the base cabinet! And the way it frames the painting at the back is just perfect...

Hope you had a lovely Easter :)

Antiques, Vintage and World's Treasures

I want to travel around the world, collect lots of treasures and have a house like this in Paris or London! And who doesn't?

And the perfect match to all this is L'Odyssée de Cartier. If you haven't watched it yet, here's the link. Absolutely stunning short film.

My fashion shoot on Fashion Gone Rogue

Hi and welcome to my blog! I thought I would start it with the most important thing that has happened to me this week.
So let me introduce you to Brogan, because thanks to her, M+P Models and the fantastic Maya Lewis' make-up, we got my photographs featured in Fashion Gone Rogue. I still can't believe it! I sent them as an ultimate effort to know if my photography was any good or not. But still, from a career point of view I see it very far away, so I will focus for now on interior decoration, which is something I have always wanted to try. Wish me luck!x
